Account Executive

   Reports to: Sr. Account Executive/Account Supervisor


The Account Executive is an advertising and integrated marketing professional. A primary focus will be executing digital and one-on-one communications in an integrated fashion, although additional experience in other disciplines is a plus. The Account Executive should have the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while still meeting deadlines and being fun to work with. This person should also be eager to learn new skills, acquire more responsibility and be comfortable with Client contact on a day-to-day basis.


Primary responsibilities include assisting in the overall management of campaigns, day-to-day Client management, providing direction and input to creative teams, reporting and interpretation of response data, next steps, recommendations and overall problem solving associated with running a successful ad/marketing campaign.


  • Develop and implement fast-paced campaigns from start to finish
  • Communicate and present campaign results
  • Manage the daily operations of your assigned Account to ensure a satisfied client
  • Function as a primary liaison between the Client and the Agency
  • Function as the Client’s advocate within the Agency
  • Develop creative briefs and other documents to assist in creative development
  • Review creative recommendations from the Agency to make sure they align with the client’s needs
  • Review data and segmentation strategy for campaigns
  • Management of third-party vendors
  • Review reports, trends and results, and interpret data to make proactive recommendations to advance the campaign and the Client’s business initiatives
  • Review budgets and make changes/recommendations as necessary
  • Assist Senior Account Executive/Account Supervisor as necessary
  • Coach and develop those who are in more junior roles
  • Demonstrate a desire to learn and expand skill set

Education and Experience

  • A BS/BA degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing ad/marketing campaigns in an account service role in an ad agency or in-house marketing department
  • Good communications and writing skills—examples a plus!
  • Experience with direct mail, digital, print and email
  • Additional experience in TV, radio, out-of-home and digital mass media is a plus
  • Proficient at problem solving and brainstorming for solutions
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, graphs and charts
  • Demonstrated intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus
