Associate Creative Director/Copywriter

Summary

The ACD/Copywriter is a hands-on, collaborative innovator responsible for the creation and execution of creative concepts. The ACD/Copywriter collaborates with a multifunctional team to create innovative and usable solutions that satisfy projects across all media, including but not limited to broadcast, print, direct mail, ecommerce, digital storytelling and social platforms. In addition, the ACD/Copywriter is tasked with oversight and development of the agency’s team of copywriters on assigned accounts and/or projects.

  • Meet with clients to develop, revise and collaborate on creative
  • Assist in overseeing creative, including procuring notes and feedback from clients, ECD or other associates
  • Mentor other writers
  • Have a good working knowledge of and experience in broadcast and digital production, apps, and rich media

Academic/Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s-level or higher in relevant area or relevant experience

Required Skills/Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience in a creative role
  • Broadcast experience
  • Knowledge of digital and social standards/best practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word
  • Knowledge of innovations in culture, technology, social media and digital trends
  • Expert communication/presentation skills and experience in client-facing roles
  • Upbeat, positive attitude; unwavering focus
