Assistant Paid Search Manager

Reports to:   Sr. Manager, Performance Platforms

About the Job 

Quigley-Simpson is on the hunt for an Assistant Paid Search Manager. We need someone who can take on the day-to-day optimizations to maximize the effectiveness of our clients’ SEM campaigns. This position requires minimum 1–year of experience. Please send us your cover letter and résumé.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage SEM digital marketing campaigns across Google, Bing, and Yahoo
  • Knowledge of best practices within paid search and can communicate them to clients
  • Manage client budgets to ensure proper allocation in accordance with project goals
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of SEM campaigns and programs and generate/deliver ongoing performance reports
  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis
  • Proactively offer strategic campaign recommendations
  • Plan and implement new campaign builds and/or builds within current campaigns
  • Work closely with the Performance Platforms team to prioritize client requests and recurring tasks
  • Attend regular client status calls as needed
  • Stay current on industry trends

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with search engine marketing (SEM), additional digital (AMS, social, SEO, etc.) experience a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of Google AdWords and Bing Ads
  • Proficient in components of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail and accuracy, and strategic thinking
  • Experience with Web analytics tools is preferred
  • Experience with platform-based buying software (Marin or Kenshoo is a plus)
  • Fun, energetic, and collaborative personality with self-starter approach to work
