Assistant Account Executive

Summary

This position assists our Cross-Screen Engagement department in managing our clients. Primary responsibilities include management of overall assigned campaigns, planning, reporting, preparation and interpretation of response data, next steps and recommendations, with supervision from senior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of assigned accounts
  • Coordinate ongoing campaign reporting, creation of presentations for media recommendations and campaign wrap-ups/results
  • Arrange and attend client/agency or internal agency meetings and prepare follow-up reports
  • Assist with the authoring and presentation of POVs
  • Manage ongoing competitive alerts and reporting
  • Maintain and organize all related records and files as needed by Client Services department
  • Provide assistance on special projects when necessary (e.g., research projects, new business, client meetings, etc.)
  • Support other department members during peak workload periods
  • Maintain a cordial and business-like relationship with client personnel and handle information requests and coordination as needed
  • Function as liaison between partner agencies and internal buying and creative departments to coordinate media activations and ensure that all deadlines are met
  • Respond to internal and external requests, and ensure that all assets and reports are delivered accurately and on time
  • Assist with budget maintenance and reconciliations

  • Accuracy and diligence in reporting and data verification
  • Troubleshoot and proactively problem solve when appropriate
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and ability to see a project through to completion
  • Complete assignments and/or agreements within deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education and Experience

  • A BS/BA degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience managing ad campaigns
  • Exposure across multiple media types, with emphasis on television, digital, and social
  • Familiarity with syndicated tools (e.g. MRI, Kantar Stradegy, ComScore)
  • Proficiency in MS Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
