Digital Media Planner/Buyer


Quigley-Simpson has an opening for a Digital Media Planner/Buyer. This highly motivated person will be data-driven with an ability to plan and execute performance-based digital media campaigns across programmatic, display, CPA-based partnerships, and paid social.

This role is the bridge between the client, Associate Digital Media Director, and the direct team. The candidate must be able to develop strategy and manage day-to-day campaigns for a Fortune 50 client.


• Develop and execute performance-based campaigns (direct-to-consumer sales, acquisition emails, driving app installs, etc.)
• Responsible for managing digital campaign setup that includes ad serving, traffic and tracking implementation
• Execute and optimize programmatic, display, native, OLV, CPA, and on occasion paid social media campaigns
• Deliver in-flight campaign reporting and optimization
• Produce, analyze and track key performance indicators and develop initiatives to increase customer conversion rate and lifetime value
• Responsible for implementation and stewardship of brand safety best practices, along with content guidelines as defined by the client
• Manage and be accountable for budgets with team; create reports and client billing
• Function as a primary liaison between the Client and the Agency, and be the Client’s advocate within the Agency
• Stay abreast of new tools, trends, networks, and best practices in the online media industry
• Supervise assistant or junior team members
• Build campaign performance reporting, inclusive of aggregating information from third-party servers and site direct reporting


• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of experience in digital media with focus on performance/conversion-focused campaigns, along with track record of success and career growth
• Must know and use third-party ad servers (e.g., DCM, Sizmek) and brand safety vendors (e.g., MOAT, IAS)
• Must be able to execute programmatic campaigns through DSP; experience with The Trade Desk is a plus; experience working with DMP strongly preferred
• Solid knowledge of paid social and ability to manually execute paid Facebook campaigns
• Agency or client-facing experience a plus
• Strong background testing multiple online marketing channels; ability to work with and test a variety of partners at any given time
• Must have strong analytical skills and ability to review online marketing results daily and, based on these results, make quick decisions on canceling channels and bringing on new channels to achieve goals
• Experience in supervising and training of other employees
• Demonstrated proficiency at Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications
• Facebook certification is a plus
• Experience using Google Analytics for reporting
• Google AdWords certification is a plus
• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
