Summary

Quigley-Simpson is looking for a Digital Producer. This is a freelance to perm opportunity and it’s a wonderful opportunity to work on multiple clients.

We’re looking for someone who is documentation-driven with spec templates across banner and email and with technical requirements forms for landing pages and microsites, and who can help define an end-to-end process across six stages:

  • Project Intake: Identify critical questions for a agency-wide intake form for clients regarding work to be onboarded
  • Discovery: Qualify the client ask regarding assets and technology needed
  • Defines: Technical requirements across banners, email, landing pages and websites
  • Design: Collaborate with digital production to stay within technical guardrails
  • Development: Evaluate and elect agency development partners; lead digital development process across banners, email, landing pages and microsites
  • Deployment: Quality control (based on stage 3 spec definition) before launch

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Will be internal and client-facing
  • Collaborate with project managers to successfully manage project timelines and costs
  • Highly collaborative with account, creative, analytics, UX and project management teams to establish technical requirements, project goals and estimate project costs
  • Be a team leader, capable of motivating and directing teams while also getting their hands dirty with technical documentation
  • Be highly competent with project management tools such as Basecamp and JIRA
  • Must be a skilled problem solver with the ability to take an idea and make it better
  • Should have extensive knowledge and amicable relationships with leading-edge development partners
  • Diverse (certified) project management expertise is a plus (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, SCRUM)
  • Responsible for ensuring that the creative team employs the most innovative technology, ultimately delivering best-in-industry digital experiences and content

Education and Technical Experience

  • 5–8 years of digital production experience in an agency setting
  • Agile production background preferred
  • Must have mobile experience and working knowledge of Responsive Web design
  • Expertise with either ExactTarget or Silverpop a must
  • Strong understanding of website design best practices and digital KPIs, including various platforms, browsers andlanguages
  • Proven track record launching and maintaining major sites
  • Experience producing complex, large-scale sites with multiple vendors
  • Experience producing rich media banners with expandability or video features
  • Proven budget management and resource allocation skills
  • Broad knowledge of Web and mobile technologies, media, enterprise-level CMS, and technical platforms
  • Understand the limitations and capabilities of HTML 5, CSS, PHP and APIs such as , such as Facebook, Google, Twitter, etc.
  • General understanding of back-end development process
  • Ability to evaluate CMS asset and development needs for platforms such as Drupal,Joomla!, WordPress, etc.
  • Ability to oversee and implement user testing using third-party software or vendors as needed
  • Must have trafficking experience with the understanding of tagging and tracking across analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Accenture, Autonomy, Adobe Test&Target, and SiteCatalyst
  • Must have the proficiency to discuss server, security and technical specifications with vendors and client IT stakeholders
  • Can publish and quality control asset upload to a staging environment
  • Ability to select UAT vendor and or work with client usability and testing team
