Traffic Coordinator

   Reports to: Director Media Operations


This position is responsible for the timely synthesizing/gathering of accurate campaign information and distributing traffic instructions and materials. The Traffic Coordinator works closely with dub houses, stations and telemarketing vendors.

To be considered, you’ll need the following:

  • Send creative information along with traffic instructions to broadcast/syndication, cable TV, radio networks and broadband publishers throughout the U.S., Mexico and Canada
  • Maintain accurate master lists of 800 numbers for all campaigns and advise telemarketers and internal teams of updates
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure client and operational needs are met
  • Able to multitask and manage changing priorities
  • Manage Traffic/Operations master files (confirm traffic/tape dub Instructions)
  • Handle clerical and administrative duties as necessary (including faxing, filing, assisting vendors via telephone and e-mail)
  • Assist Traffic team with projects


  • Ensure all paperwork is confirmed and filed properly
  • Make certain accurate tape code/800# information is provided to the dub houses and telemarketers
  • Manage vendor accuracy, quality and relationships
  • Ensure accuracy in calculating numbers and timely report preparation
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve, as appropriate, with company’s current database (MBOX)
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, follow-through skills and ability to communicate
  • Complete assignments and/or agreements within deadlines

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and two years’ prior traffic, scheduling, advertising experience
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook, MS Excel, Word
  • Extraordinary verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be detailed-oriented, reliable and able to work well with deadlines
