December 9, 2021 10Qs With April Cotton, Associate Media Director
The internet is vast. What’s your happy place?
YouTube. I’m always listening to music or finding a new “concentration” mix while I work, and YouTube doesn’t slow my computer down.
What’s your idea of a perfect meal?
A perfect meal is at my dining room table sharing a home-cooked dinner and a bottle of wine with a group of laughing friends.
Which fictional or historical character do you most relate to?
Jo March. I, too, would rather read than marry when I was younger!
Who is your hero? (dead or alive)
I don’t really have a hero, but I admire anyone who is authentically themselves.
Imagine that every type of creature, real or imaginary, is tameable. What would you bring home?
I mean, a dragon, right? That’s it. That’s the answer. You get a dragon.
You receive an all-access pass to one city. Where do you go?
Jerusalem. It’s the only city I can think of that I’d want special permission to see all of everything.
Technology makes Westworld-style theme parks a reality. What “world” would you buy a ticket to?
I’d like to hang out in a Victorian Steampunk festival for a day.
You’re granted a 25th hour every day. What do you do with it?
Meditate and look at the moon!
Whether or not you knew it at the time, at which moment in your life did you make the most pivotal decision?
I was dragging my feet applying for school the same time JetBlue Airlines was opening a New York hub. I finally said, “Eh, if I don’t get into the college I want, I’ll go be a flight attendant.” I got into school.
Under-the-radar recommendation. What do you love that more people should? (Movie, book, artist, podcast, restaurant, etc.)
Brie for breakfast, Vanessa Carlton, and the Coffee & Coin podcast.
