Integrated Media Planner

Summary

The Integrated Media Planner’s working on Procter & Gamble(P&G) primary responsibilities include day-to-day management of comprehensive media campaigns, with daily client contact and management. Responsibilities also include budget management, digital reporting collaboration, team task lists, strategy recommendations, and overall problem-solving associated with creation, development, and implementation of a successful media plan for a large CPG brand across media types—Linear TV, OTT, Digital, Audio & Social.

Primary Responsibilities

• Act as a client relationship manager, understand clients’ media objectives and work with media teams to develop strategies that meet those objectives daily
• Act as a primary advocate for clients’ brands, ensuring brand efficiency and effectiveness across all projects, and actively acquiring a thorough knowledge of clients’ businesses to meet and exceed objectives
• Budget Maintenance, 100% accuracy when planning, adding and changing a very large media budget. Implementing budget changes into SQUAD MediaTools
• Manage the daily operations to ensure clients are satisfied
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with outside agencies to ensure flawless execution of plans, including buying and traffic coordination
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and follow-through skills [Move this bullet point to “Education and Experience”]
• Contribute new media ideas to further grow the brand
• Serve as a role model with a positive attitude and facilitate a team environment
• Coach and develop junior personnel
• Assist Integrated Media Associate Director and Media Director when needed

Education and Experience

• A B.S. / B.A. degree in marketing, communications or related field
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of agency experience
• A strong understanding of integrated account management
• Excellent analytical ability
• Detail-oriented, organized, and superior written/verbal communication and presentation skills
• Experience with SQUAD MediaTools and Nielsen Media Impact a definite plus
• Demonstrates advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency with media-related and other basic software packages (e.g., MRI, Scarborough, Kantar, comScore, Mediaocean OX, Sizmek, Telmar, IMS, etc.)
• Enthusiastic team player with an “anything is possible” attitude
