Media Director, Communications Planning & Investments

Media Director, Communications Planning & Investments, is responsible for guiding and informing the agency’s communications-planning practice and discipline for Febreze (a $140 Million-dollar media account under the P&G portfolio). This person has a minimum of 7–8 years of agency experience developing and implementing media strategy for clients resulting in tangible business results.

This is a senior leadership position within the company that must effectively manage work through people and thus consistently coach, counsel, and model Quigley-Simpson’s desired performance standards.


– Target development and segmentation
– Communications strategy (North Star that guides all strategies/tactics)
– Channel allocation and investments
– KPIs and measurement
– Media partnerships and activations
– Social (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube)
– Programmatic (DSP/DMP)
– Publisher Direct
– Fully integrated planning and buying across the user journey
– Strong handle and stewardship of traditional and digital
– Leadership in strategies/tactics including prospecting, retargeting, nurturing, and awareness
– Path-to-purchase insights
– Recommend optimizations for KPI success in paid media
– Approach to Paid, Owned, and Earned
– Understanding of measurement and attribution of paid media
– Client presentations and recommendations
– Staff training
– Leadership
– Coaching
– Interface regularly with clients to ensure an ongoing rapport and insight into their businesses
– Participate in trade shows and new business presentations

Education and Experience

– A bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
– Minimum 7–8 years of progressive experience in communications planning and investments to lead client business
– PowerPoint and excellent copy deck writing skills
– Excellent written communication skills – email, POVs, copy decks
– Excellent Excel skills with data
– Supercool personality and love of food, wine, and travel
– Mandatory passion for engaging with people and being the best leader possible
