Paid Search Analyst

Quigley-Simpson is a full-service advertising agency located in West Los Angeles that specializes in strategic planning, marketing, media planning and buying, brand building, creative development, production and multicultural advertising. The agency combines the disciplines of direct response advertising with branding to create effective and accountable campaigns that enhance our clients’ return on investment (ROI). We do this for both creative and media clients. Quigley-Simpson’s extensive experience spans television, digital, print, out- of-home, radio, collateral, direct mail and mobile advertising as well as search engine marketing (SEM) and Web design.

About the Job

Quigley-Simpson is on the hunt for a Paid Search Analyst. We need someone who can manage paid search campaigns with a proven track record in maximizing results. You will be responsible for all campaign details from strategy and day to day management. You will work closely with marketing team, working on everything from keyword research to ad copy testing and analysis.

The ideal candidate is data driven, detail oriented, and a self-starter who can hit the ground running and immediately contribute to currently running campaigns in high-growth categories

Essential Functions

• Manage paid search campaigns across Google and Bing
• Execute paid search campaign management best practices and processes. Follow appropriate optimization schedules, setup, and QA to achieve client KPIs
• Oversee planning, buying and optimization of paid search media across key clients
• Support team members with ad hoc trafficking, campaign management, and analysis
• Troubleshoot and solve technical issues
• Set realistic expectations for deliverables and make every effort to meet them with quality work
• Maintaining and grow client search budgets
• Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis
• Proactively review campaigns to identify insights and provide strategic campaign recommendations
• Monitor and analyze the performance of SEM campaigns and programs, and generate/deliver ongoing performance updates
• Work closely with the Account Team in order to understand all clients and campaign objectives
• Work directly with clients for all paid search campaign request—answer questions and address issues
• Track all performance and develop weekly/monthly progress reports—share findings with the online and offline media teams
• Ability to present strategic value within paid search to senior-level clients
• Lead regular client status calls, as required

Candidate Requirements

• 1 to 2 years’ experience managing Paid Search campaigns
• Data driven, detail oriented and self-starter
• Proactive, solutions-oriented and curious
• Effective written and oral communication
• Effective internal communication skills
• Have strong strategic thinking and the ability to package it for client-side presentations
• Fun, energetic and collaborative personality with self-starter approach to work
• Experience with other paid digital media channels (Amazon or Display), preferred not required
• Experience with 3rd party tool (ie. Marin, Kenshoo or DoubleClick Search) is a plus
