Programmatic Campaign Manager/Trader

Reports to: AMD, Digital

Quigley-Simpson is seeking a Programmatic Campaign Manager/Planner to own RTB strategy, campaign planning and buying, in order to drive transparent media performance on behalf of our clients. This role serves as the day-to-day point of contact for all programmatic media.

Day to day, your role includes the responsibility to:

• Manages the campaign end-to-end: strategy, audience and data recommendations, plan details, implementation, reporting and analysis
• This role will also be responsible for:
          • Development of data and audience strategies for programmatic media plans
          • Creating media recommendations for internal digital teams
          • Understanding digital tracking – will create and implement pixels to track activity
          • Implementation of brand safety and third-party ad-serving pixels
          • Optimizing against brand goals
          • Report and provide insights on campaign performance


• Plan, execute, manage and optimize programmatic media campaigns for agency clients (e.g., auction/exchange-based performance media, Display, Mobile or Video audience-based buying, remarketing campaigns)
• Effectively communicate digital strategies, rationale and proposals for current and new clients
• Demonstrate diligence, attention to detail and adherence to the agency’s best practices throughout the full digital campaign life cycle
• Handle daily campaign maintenance, including internal questions regarding tracking and status of various campaigns
• Assist in the development of client-facing campaign performance reports including data quality and insight development
• Contribute to the assessment of inventory availability and the formulation of proposals for new client opportunities
• Manage the delivery of creative assets, insertion orders, campaign artifacts and all relevant campaign documentation in preparation for campaign launch
• Traffic campaign tags into Demand Side Platforms (DSPs), ad-serving platforms or other ad technology environments

Certificates, licenses and registrations

We will require this role to be Trade Desk certified


• 2–3 years of direct programmatic platform media buying
• Understanding of online ad formats and specs including video, mobile and native
• Experience working with DSPs and ad servers
• Understanding of RTB, private marketplace and programmatic direct
• Understanding of website tracking tags (conversion and retargeting)
• Analytical thinker who can work independently and multi-task
• Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
