Senior Media Planner Summary:
As a Senior Media Planner, you’ll be at the forefront of digital and integrated campaigns, using your omnichannel mindset and deep digital experience to develop innovative strategies that drive results. This position will have the responsibility to manage day-to-day planning and analysis while maintaining strong relationships with media partners and internal teams. This senior role knows the people, processes, and technology for the planning, buying, analyzing, testing, and optimizing of all paid media.
Core Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development and lead evaluation, execution, and management of media plans that consist of, but are not limited to, all paid digital and offline media channels to meet clients’ campaign requirements, budgets, and marketing objectives
Work closely with the Media Supervisor and Media Director to develop strategic channel/media approaches. Aids in the development of target consumer profiles and market trends.
Gather and analyze market and media data. Conduct competitive analysis. Manage the RFP process. Evaluate vendor proposals and be able to negotiate with vendors.
Organize and manage workflow to ensure accurate and on-time campaign authorizations, insertion orders, budget management, and the invoice process. Work with internal digital media team to integrate digital objectives and strategies into overall plans.
Create and maintain the tactical components of client media campaigns, such as buy details, creative spec sheets, flowcharts, spreadsheets, and budget summaries and budget reconciliation creation and upkeep
Work closely with the Advertising Operations team to ensure all media is accurately trafficked, placements are activated in a timely manner, and delivery matches the plan. Verify traffic report is complete and accurate in addition to managing the creative trafficking process.
Analyze media results, partner with Analytics and Media Supervisor/Media Director to assist with actionable insights and identify next steps to ensure continuous improvement of performance, maximization of budget and alignment to meet strategic imperatives and business goals of clients
Accurately track and process invoices, change orders, updates to traffic sheets, and changes to the plan to reflect client direction and campaign learnings
Help ensure accuracy of media placements according to the plan, budget pacing, and tracking. Apply past experience to help quickly troubleshoot performance issues. Use learnings to help create case studies.
Directly engage in planning and communicating with buying/activation teams via all mediums, including digital, social, search, streaming audio/video, influencer activations, television, radio, and OOH activations
Train Associate Media Planners and Media Planners within client teams. Oversee the support-level work they perform and help guide their overall growth and development.
Utilize media research tools and analyze data to inform target audience, geography, and media channel selection, as well as monitoring competitive activity
Has a deep attention to detail while having a keen eye for ensuring quality control and accuracy
Mastery:
Able to communicate and present work with confidence and clarity, be a multi-tasking, prioritizing master, and a key resource for all team members.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing, or related fields
Minimum 3+ years of cross-channel media planning experience
Media math knowledge required
High comfort level with the media planning process and media resources/tools (such as DCM, Innovid, comScore, Prisma/Media Ocean, eTelmar (MRI), Media Tools, MediaOcean, OX, Commspoint, MOAT, IAS)

The Programmatic PMP Sales Account Executive will lead our APX Impact marketplace solution, driving sales and revenue growth for our curated private marketplace solution. Quigley-Simpson is actively moving into the media supply chain industry, focused on driving impact through the curation of smarter, historically proven curated PMPs.
As a performance marketing agency, we want to take our knowledge and ability to drive performance impact to the broader industry through our curated PMPs, offering what we do best—drive performance—to the general marketplace. We are seeking a seasoned programmatic salesperson who is looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to build their own sales solution.
We are looking for someone who understands the opportunity of supply curation in the media marketplace and wants to help us change the nature of the agency model. This self-driven person will help Quigley-Simpson leap into our future as an end-to-end performance marketing agency.
Core Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for selling our curated impact performance marketplaces to agencies, brands, and small businesses. Working as an individual contributor, you’ll work with our tech partners to help manage, curate, and deploy custom PMPs based on marketplace opportunities and sales briefs generated by your leads.
You’ll own and cultivate key relationships focused on driving impact for them while striving to hit your revenue goals. You will need to stay current on all industry trends and provide internal recommendations, as relevant. In addition, you will be expected to participate and lead when called upon, delivering ongoing training and development across our organization.
Lead the growing APX curated PMP practice for Quigley-Simpson across clients, agencies, and brands.
Develop a list of key relationships to cultivate sustained revenue over time.
Work in a sales capacity as an individual contributor.
Collaborate with our technology partner to ensure the timely delivery and accuracy of all our PMPs.
Monitor, manage, and direct optimizations for each deployed PMP to ensure we deliver on all KPIs and impact goals.
Communicate regular updates around your sales targets and client relationships.
Write informative and detailed POVs and white papers on market trends impacting the current media marketplace, technology, and consumer behaviors.
Keep abreast of emerging industry trends and maintain relationships with our media partners.
Work to balance impact with innovation, as we continually try to ensure that our media strategies meet our clients’ KPIs while bringing them new and innovative thinking.

Required Skills/Abilities and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
Several years of sales experience with at least one year of experience in the programmatic space
Experience working at an agency (not a requirement)
Sales experience in the technology/programmatic space
Track record of consistently achieving sales revenue data
Comfortable with data and telling a story with data
Well-rounded knowledge of programmatic is required
Ability to successfully execute cross-team and command respect from internal/external stakeholders
