In their new roles, Ratner and Piazza are tasked with continuing to emphasize tech and AI solutions and developing processes to integrate creative and media to drive outsized ROI for our clients.

“We are incredibly proud to be at the forefront of the evolution of media, technology, and data analytics, all of which directly impact brand marketing and every phase of the consumer journey,” said Renee Hill Young, Co-Founder, Quigley-Simpson. “As one of the country’s leading integrated independent agencies, we believe that it is our Impact Obsessed process and focus that drives our agency to consistently exceed expectations and sets us apart in a fragmented industry. The addition of Jeff and Mark rounds out and fortifies our senior leadership team, as they bring a deep wealth of both client and agency experience. This positions us for even greater growth in the coming years, significantly impacting our business and that of our clients.”

As President of Media, Analytics, and Data, Ratner is responsible for overseeing the agency’s Media Strategy and Planning, Investment, Activation, and Analytics practices. His extensive 20+ years of experience on both the client and agency side, coupled with his ability to solve complex business challenges utilizing the latest in data, analytics, and technology, add a compelling perspective to the agency. Ratner’s impressive resume includes senior agency positions at GroupM’s Mindshare, Publicis Media’s Zenith, and Hearst’s iCrossing. Ratner has also held senior marketing positions at Sony Corporation of America and Kaplan North America, a global educational services company.

As Chief Operating Officer, Mark Piazza will focus on supporting and developing agency talent as well as overseeing company operations. Additionally, he will work with company stakeholders to sharpen departmental plans and drive initiatives that deliver on these goals. In his 35 years in the industry, Piazza has held top roles at Oxford Road, MediaCom, Digitas, and The Engine Group, as well as at leading industry trade organization, the 4As. Prior to joining Quigley-Simpson, Piazza held the roles of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at specialist audio media agency Oxford Road, where he spearheaded all financial, talent, technology, and commercial operations for the company. Earlier in his career, he was SVP of the 4As’ Business Intelligence group, where he oversaw the agency compensation board and helped agencies navigate the ever-changing advertising ecosystem.
